Art & Communication Building
Known affectionately as “33”, this building houses the Department of Art and Department of Communication, as well as the Miller Art Gallery. The building houses Otterbein’s radio station (WOBN), video and television studios, editing booths, journalism labs, computer labs, a lounge and classrooms for students majoring in Communication Studies, Health Communication, Journalism and Media Communication and Public Relations.

Students broadcast live while learning the talent of on-air announcing. Facilities feature individual video production editing booths, a large video studio complete with green screen, and editing labs/classrooms.
WOBN-FM Radio Station (97.5 FM)
Students at WOBN-FM learn how to do remotes and live airshifts on the NexGen Automation system. The WOBN production studios contain MAC and PC-based digital editing software. All software lends itself to producing podcasts and digital files in MP3 format. Listen live on air or streaming on

Digital media labs are the setting for news and feature story production used by TandCMedia.org and Tan & Cardinal Magazine. Learn to write, design, edit, and package a story with print, audio and video components.
